Open Positions

Postdoctoral Fellows

We are seeking motivated postdoctoral researchers with expertise in molecular neuroscience, electrophysiology, or computational biology. Experience with optogenetics, fiber photometry, or single-cell techniques is highly valued.

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Biology, or related field
  • Strong publication record
  • Experience with rodent behavioral models preferred
  • Interest in depression, addiction, or circuit neuroscience

Graduate Students

Graduate students can join through several programs including the ASU IGPN (Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Neuroscience), UA Neuroscience GIDP, or the MD/PhD program at UA College of Medicine-Phoenix.

Requirements:

  • Acceptance into an affiliated graduate program
  • Strong academic background in biological sciences
  • Research experience preferred but not required

Undergraduate Researchers

We welcome undergraduate students interested in gaining research experience. Students will work closely with graduate students and postdocs on ongoing projects and can earn course credit or participate in summer research programs.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled at UA or ASU
  • Minimum commitment of 10 hours/week
  • GPA ≥ 3.0
  • Interest in neuroscience research

Research Technicians

Research technician positions are available periodically. These positions provide excellent preparation for graduate or medical school and involve hands-on experience with cutting-edge neuroscience techniques.

Requirements:

  • B.S. in Biology, Neuroscience, or related field
  • Laboratory experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
